To subdue pride is to subdue fear and free oneself from the chains of the wheel of samsara. Fear created illusions and suffering. Ignorance created fear. To subdue pride, it is necessary to know the truth.
The inability to satisfy greed breeds despondency. The greed of pride inevitably breeds exhaustion and despondency. Despondency is a loss of faith. There is no faith, no love, no movement, but there is fear. Fear breeds pride.
While traveling in India, I noticed that the only thing that saves us is karma. Huge problems at any moment could fall on our heads and crush us, but miraculously did not fall, and even when we foolishly killed all the time, took pity on us and at the last second was given, which, of course, once again, helped to avoid a lot of problems.
Karma is generated by actions, but actions consist of motives and actions. Actions are faith, faith is born of love. What exactly do you love? Art or your own pleasure in art? Motives are hope... what are you hoping for? Carry the goods? To serve beauty and art? Are your hopes fueled by pride, lust, greed, anger, and other deadly sins?
Tell me, what is your motive for turning the wheel of Dharma? Dharma is a stream of energy, a wheel of love and knowledge, the experience of which should lead to the realization of truth and perfection. What have you learned? What did you find out?" Or were you driven by pride? Did you crave pleasure, did you run from fear? You closed your eyes, and the truth remained unknown to you?
The wheel of Dharma, the wheel of law. Law is love. Love is energy and time. Law is an order and a ritual, a kind of ordered regularity. We are talking about the flow of ordinary life, regulated by our habits and addictions. How do you live? What are you doing? What are the motives and goals of your actions?
The reason for bad karma is a lie. The more you lie,the worse your karma. For example, you lie about your love, under the mask of which lies pride. All your fears lie. All your ignorance lies when you talk about what you think.
