Do what you must and be what you will… this is a metaphor for love. Love is the art of accomplishing the impossible. 38% you can do yourself, and leave the rest to hope and miracle. You can't do much, and that saves you from being complacent.
Self-confidence comes from the firmness of your desires. Nothing can shake my determination to achieve my goal, you tell yourself. The achievability of my goal depends only on me, and I will not give up until I have done everything possible.
A properly set goal is a determination to do everything possible and impossible, and then come what may. I want to The Nobel prize and, therefore, I am determined to do everything possible from me to become worthy of my goal.
Here so. You either do what you have to do and get the carrot... or you get the whip and still do it. The system does not provide for a situation when you stop and do nothing.
Of course, faith and love will save you, but faith is a movement and God helps the one who is walking. Are you already performing an act of faith? Where is your movement towards the expected and confidence in the unseen?
Your job is to do what you have to do. I forbid you to suffer that you don't have time for something. Your desire for power over time is pride. God's ways are mysterious. Everything is done as it should and when it should.
You should relax in the sense that yours comes to you easily enough, but what does not come to you, and you try to grab it by force – this is clearly someone else's. Everything superfluous is done with great difficulty. So you don't have to be afraid of anything, but just calmly do what you have to do.
Even when everything's going wrong, it's necessary to relax … exhale … say to oneself that such is life and keep on doing things in a relaxed way… Generally, statistics show that 90 per cent of problems and difficulties fade away on their own. And if they didn't fade away, well then it was not meant to be…
Sometimes there is something that you should do. But you haven't done it. And now your conscience is bothering you and you sleep badly and think about it all the time. Having repented several times, you could have got it done, but... You're making things complicated. Just do what you should and sleep with a quiet mind.
I must do my work because that's what is meant to be done. I simply feel that it must be done and I do it. I'm sure about it and don't have any doubts. I don't know where it will get me and why I do this. I simply must do it and that's all. I'm happy while I'm doing this. I'm as happy as Larry when I do it. And nothing in this world, except maybe death himself, may stop me from doing what I do.
Resignation is finding out you don’t have to wait for anything. Do what you have to and come what may. Do good and throw it into the water. Your job is to do your job and NOT to wait, hope or be afraid.
Do good and throw it in the water is a metaphor for a сеятеля. A sower should be patient and remember that not all the seeds will fall on a fertile soil.
The point of resignation is not to judge. Do not judge whether you can or cannot do something. Do not judge whether it is difficult or not, fearsome or not. Just do what you have been told to do or what you think necessary. When judging, you define the superposition’s state. If you do not judge, you can implement any task, maintaining the simultaneity of states.
The I-cannot thought is said to produce impenetrability. You really cannot do anything if you consider it undoable. They say: say “I can” and you will be able to do it. There is some truth in it but, overall, it is false. You should not judge at all. “I can” and “I can’t” are lies. “I can” does not know resignation and, consequently, is unable to overcome obstacles. Any disappointment breaks your “I cannot” to pieces. Do not judge – just do your job resignedly.
Your chest pain is a consequence of not doing everything you could. You could have done more, but you didn't do more. You can more. Do more, get up early, work longer. The pain will go away when you do what you have to and can do.
Everything will be fine. God will save me. I do what I have to do, I do what I have to do. Do what you must and be what you will. Everything will be fine. Everything will be fine. God, strengthen me in faith, help me overcome all doubts.
When in doubt- do nothing... but what is the doubt about? Is something needed or not! Anything else is not important.
The thought whether you're able to do something or not, is not of ultimate importance. Something needed should be done in any case, even despite the understanding how limited your abilities are to last long enough. Even if you manage to take only a few steps closer to your goal, it will already be a great achievement. And perhaps, step after step, with God's help you will manage to get it done.
I'm inclined to think that no one owes anyone anything. All at your own risk. Don't do it, for God's sake, but don't cry afterwards if the consequences are sad.
"Do what you must and come what may" means that each day has its own worries. And he who does not do what is due today (out of fear of tomorrow) sins greatly.
