Judge not, lest ye be judged.  You know who's not on trial?  Himself.  When you judge, you become jealous and contemptuous.  When you find contempt in others, a little later you find it in yourself.  You start despising yourself, trying to kill a part of yourself, and that's impossible.

Pride is contempt for imperfection.  It seems to pride that things are imperfect and that they must become perfect.  Pride despises those who do not strive for perfection.  Pride judges things.  He considers some things more perfect than others.  Pride thinks itself a judge.  Pride thinks it has the right to decide what can and cannot be lived.  What to release energy, and what should die of hunger.  What is beautiful and what is not.

A  righteous  person  whose  righteousness  has  made  him  arrogant  and  who  is  mired  in  despise  for  sinners  is  not  a  righteous  one,  but  the  worst  of  those  he  despises.

It is dangerous to love a cowardly and weak person. Such people, believing that there is nothing to love them for, intuitively believe that only those who are worse and weaker than them can love them. This thought awakens in them pride and contempt for the lower. They become arrogant and aggressive.

The beginning of the book

4.7. Arrogance’s vicious circle.   AR AR

A   person’s   disrespect   for   another   person   is   the   absence   of   love   for   a   close   one.   These   people   are   infected   with   arrogance   and   despise   each   other.   They   have   what   to   despise   one   another   for   –   the   sin   of   arrogance   deserves   despise.

If  a  person  wants  to  share  joy  with  you,  take  it  as  a  sign  of  trust  and  participate  in  joy  together.  Common  joy  makes  people  closer.

Don't  spoil  or  mix  this  pure  desire  with  dirt  by  indifference,  hatred  or  what's  even  worse-  by  desire  to  share  your  fears  and  concerns  for  the  future  with  this  person.

Power  is  a  disease  that  turns  one  into  a  pig.  And  it's  only  an  inner  moral  backbone  that  can  prevent  one  from  being  a  pig.

The  thing  is  that  power  has  several  synonyms:
Money  is  a  synonym  for  power.
Beauty  and  perfection  are  synonyms  for  power.
Intellect  is  a  synonym  for  power.
Strength  is  a  synonym  for  power.

Power  without  ethics  and  moral  codes  to  control  it,  gets  quickly  covered  with  a  mould  of  pride,  rudeness,  hatred  towards  others  and  any  other  deadly  sins.

Some  people  don't  see  the  difference  between  pride  and  pridefulness.  Pride  means  gladness  for  something  done  well  or  right.  While  pridefulness  is  a  sin  that  makes  one  full  of  complacence  and  the  feeling  of  being  very  special  and  irreplaceable.
Pridefulness  is  an  attempt  to  make  an  idol  of  one's  own  personality  so  that  to  pray  to  oneself  and  even  demand  others  to  worship  one.

Pridefulness  doesn't  make  one  feel  anything  but  hatred  towards  others.
Pridefulness  is  a  source  of  hatred.
While  pride  is  a  source  of  sincere  gladness  and  happiness.

You  open  "Pandora's  box"  and  set  all  your  sins  free,  namely  envy,  hate,  resentment,  anger,  fear  -  all  of  them  crawl  to  the  outside  and  you'll  be  the  first  to  be  violently  bitten  by  them.

The  conclusion.  Everything  you  need  to  know  about  the  evil  that  seems  scary  is  that  it's  unpleasant  and  disgusting.

2530. Defying your fear for a conflict.   AR AR

Show  hate  and  disrespect  to  the  object  of  your  fear  and  try  to  cause  a  conflict  by  this  provocative  behaviour.  Forget  about  friendliness  and  make  the  object  of  your  fear  be  the  first  to  react  and  say  something.  It's  called  provocation.
The  one  who  is  the  first  to  open  a  mouth  will  be  considered  an  aggressor.  And  since  no  one  likes  aggressors  it  will  be  easy  to  destroy  one.  A  justified  war  against  an  aggressor  is  always  a  better  thing  than  a  treacherous  attack.

2634. Underestimating an enemy.   AR AR

The  truth  is  that  actually  it's  never  clear  who  is  going  to  win.  It  can  be  any  of  the  opponents.  Victory  is  unpredictable.  The  course  of  victory  becomes  clear  only  on  battlefields.  A  weak  opponent  may  easily  gain  power  typical  of  a  Hero  and  destroy  any  strong  favorite  with  the  battle.  While  this  favorite  may  be  so  full  of  pridefulness  and  hatred  that  will  become  blind  with  own  inflated  ego.  On  the  other  hand,  someone  weak  may  also  be  mistaken  and  underestimate  someone  strong.  A  weak  one  may  think  that  a  strong  person  is  kind  and  weak  because  of  it,  or  consider  a  strong  one  blind,  stupid,  etc.  And  this  kind  of  underestimating  someone  strong  may  lay  aside  all  hope  of  victory.  Victory  is  a  delicate  balance.  Victory  is  only  meant  for  someone  who  manages  to  gain  the  inner  balance  of  insanity  and  prudence,  carefulness  and  courage,  farseeing  and  fatalism...

Of  course,  it's  impossible  to  find  someone  totally  sinless...
What's  more,  those  free  of  sins  are  just  as  sinful  as  those  full  of  sins...
