The choice of women-voters is dominant and critical for a democracy. Women are very attentive to what other women like and so they are inclined to vote as a unified block. Since the beginning of time, the power of leaders was based on the females` support in the monkey communities.
The idea of democracy is slightly contrary to the idea of human mind. Brain, occupying maximum 2-3% of the body mass, consumes up to 20% of total organism energy and solves almost all the important issues. But it doesn’t mean that brain is autocratic, brain is very frightened of pain and very sensitive to everything that happens in the whole organism.
Democracy is unfair, but not because there are way more zeros than ones , and because zeros like to vote for their favorite ones without even getting into what they are saying.
A conservative is the one who believes that a man should work, and a woman should be beautiful. Liberals are more sympathetic to sex minorities and insist that a woman should work .
The ruling elites regard democracy and freedom of speech as a sort of vapor relief valve in a steam engine. Vapor is hissing and the steam engine is still moving forward…
I’m a liberal and a democrat, so I want democracy and liberalism to prosper worldwide. Democracy, however, is possible only in a society where all people are more or less equal, strong and intelligent. Stupidity and weakness are incompatible with democracy, because they turn the weak into slaves and the strong into their masters. To avoid this, many people should be given power and wisdom… In other words, I want to give people light in every sense of the word so that they could build a free society. Light is absolutely essential for freedom…
The main problem with democracy is that people demand the impossible out of stupidity, and presidential candidates are forced to tell lies and promise them what is not and never will be.
Democracy is a mask. Mask smiling, good and fair. Anything can hide under this mask, but it does not matter. The evolutionary progress and advantage of democracy over other forms of government lies precisely in this public goodness. In order not to hide under this mask, formally it is forced to somehow match its shape. And this form is the only thing that can hold back the monster hidden under it.
How can all the arguments in texts 849 and 850 on the limitation of competition be combined with the theory of free competition, which is good leading to progress?
It's very simple: competition is good among relatively equal. Competition is good in its weight category, in one sport. And the situation when a 15-year-old boxer participates in a competition of 9-year juniors, this situation is categorically unacceptable. As well as sparring 120-kilogram fighter with 60-kilogram. Even such a seemingly innocent situation as a fight between a fighter and a boxer is not a fair fight, because the principles of combat in these fighters are different. Boxer, by nature, can not kick and go to melee, using this, the fighter can twist it and hold a painful reception.
And the situation when an organized group of 10 people (say, a large financial conglomerate, Corporation, group of companies) shock and joyfully kick one unfortunate victim - generally requires public intervention.
Competition makes better only relatively equal opponents, in other cases, it only kills the weak. In General, competition, like democracy itself, is possible only among more or less equal. In the presence of strong and weak-need an external regulator that separates them.
Democracy is the best possible social system. But democracy is possible only among equals, because equals are afraid to mess with each other. Is there equality? On the other hand, equality of the strong is possible, provided that the system of checks and balances does not allow someone to rise significantly above the rest.
The weak in this system can represent the force only by uniting under the leadership of one of the strong, who will promise to represent them.
Threats to democracy can be as follows:
- strong should be not many and not little. If the strong are few, democracy will turn into an oligopoly, and if the strong become many, democracy will turn into a circus and a show,
- democracy is possible with strong national clans and groups, otherwise the power will take control of foreign forces,
- people with roots and connections should vote: property owners and people with children.
The main problem of communism was that by eliminating the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie, they essentially eliminated competition. The functions of the oligarchs and the bourgeoisie passed to the officials.
That is, if before the bourgeoisie and the state, who between them fought for power and resources, in terms of communism, officials of the defeated bourgeoisie and themselves become it. In this respect, the Chinese model of communism is more harmonious. In it, officials and oligarchs compete with each other and have roughly equal power. Moreover, the classical oligopoly and democracy is more weak, because the elite it is almost completely controlled by the state, which weakens competition.
It is necessary to understand that in any case, power and money turn people into oligarchs with superpowers. And those who have superpowers, one way or another, control the state and power. The Chinese model is not perfect. In it, too, power rests on economic power and is provided by clans. But in this model, the combined power of the state, based on ethics, morality and dominant philosophy, is such that titans can be periodically destroyed. It is almost impossible to destroy Titan in a purely capitalist society.
The problem of democracy is that it's only stupidity and evil of all kinds- from tiny to gigantic, that they bring to a vote… It's not clear why but wisdom and kindness never take part in a vote. Some say that they don't even get the minority of votes. But what this minority looks like and how to get it, no one really knows… It's a mystery just as strange as the mythological majority that no one has ever seen.
The dubious majority have fun with the song marching to hell.
"You make me laugh, my dear. You'd think most people are given the opportunity to make their own decisions. The same cunning little minority both made decisions in one person, and continues to do it, hiding behind democracy.
"Well, I don't agree. Remember at least the democracy of ancient Athens, where demagogues and politicians were called flatterers of the mob. Populism is all of them. These guys over the past millennia have become professional showmen. Their words honed meaningless. The crowd loves them.
"By the way, I was thinking. Democracy - as a way to remove responsibility for wrong decisions. Just think, before all was to blame for the Emperor, and now - no one knows who. Even more. Now the people themselves are to blame for the fact that it is bad. We have a democracy, now everyone chooses what he deserves.
It's important for any state to make its citizens armed at least in order to protect ITSELF from its own stupidity and tendency for injustice.
It's impossible to build a democratic state in the society of the very strong and very weak ones. So, it's necessary to somehow make their opportunities and forces equal. Democracy is mutual respect between well-armed people. If we want society to be just, it's necessary to provide all people the opportunity to react to any injustice adequately.
One more thing. The society where every citizen is an armed warrior will never be under control of any external forces. As this society will be successful and known for justice. As any injustice together with an offended person's sniping rifle will soon be turned into justice.
Of course, it's also possible to narrow a gap between the weak and the strong ones by changes in the system of education or laws but it barely works in practice.
Mutual respect based on mutual fear, makes people very polite and civilized.
The main weak spot of democracy and fair elections is that there are substantively more fools that sane and clever people They choose people of their kind or those who were able to deceive them, and it’s known than deceiving them is easier than taking candy from a baby.
Indeed, any people deserves its leaders. Of course, there is a number of nuances and even hopelessness, as not only people influences its leaders, but leaders also shape people to their image.
Foolishness generates only foolishness. Small foolishness y grows into enormous one. And the foolishness put together gets literally astronomical scales.
Perhaps, for the sake of democracy and love for mankind it's rational not to let weak minded take part in a vote.
Perhaps, there should be some exam and control to stop stupid people from taking part in a vote. There should be some tests of logic, knowledge of philosophy, ethics and intelligence level. It's irrational to let idiots and easily led people become puppets for cynical puppeteers.
In classical democracy, no more than 15% of the best members of society participated in democratic processes, they were called citizens. Classical democracy did not imply the participation of idiots in a democracy.
Democracy that turns into phrase-mongering, often tends to substitute talks for actions. This gigantic long tongued head resembles a millepede with its moving tongues instead of arms and legs.
Democracy teaches man to judge, and to judge what he does not understand. On the other hand, democracy is learning, it teaches people to teach correctly at the cost of suffering. On the third hand, democracy teaches fear.
The point of democracy is to show the doubters that the majority is right. Doubting and disbelieving people are very dependent on others ' opinion, because they are afraid to take responsibility for making their decision.
