Every person is potentially great. However, this greatness is often hidden under a thick layer of personal faults and insignificance. Thus, if a person takes a shovel and digs up some personal merits, this person will always get the chance to find personal greatness.
I think that both hell and paradise are under control of the same people. Of course, the masks they wear are different. But the motives are quite similar.
