Нужно   быть   честным.   Следует   признать   себя   плохим   и   сказать,   что   в   этом   нет   ничего   плохого.   Иное   порождает   самообман.   У   них   куча   пороков   и   они   их   скрывают,   прикидываясь   хорошими.   Ложь   порождает   лицемерие,   страх,   тщеславие,   иногда   манию   величия,   иногда   паранойю.   Когда   они   притворяются   хорошими,   это   занижает   партнёрам   самооценку.   В   этом   нет   справедливости,   партнёры   испытывают   большое   желание   содрать   со   лжеца   маску,   и   это   порождает   войну.   С   одной   стороны,   срывать   с   людей   маски   это   плохая   идея,   с   другой   стороны,   хорошая   идея,   когда   человек   сам   снимет   с   себя   маску   и   скажет:   «Да,   я   чудовище.   Во   мне   есть   плохое,   есть   хорошее.   Либо   вы   любите   меня   настоящего,   либо   все   катитесь   в   ад».   Любить   настоящее   это   значит   любить   истину   и   быть   честным   человеком.

He had to be honest.  One should admit oneself to be bad and say that there is nothing wrong with it.  The other breeds self-deception.  They have a lot of vices and they hide them, pretending to be good.  Lying breeds hypocrisy, fear, vanity, sometimes megalomania, sometimes paranoia.  When they pretend to be good, it lowers their self-esteem.  There is no justice in this, the partners have a great desire to tear off the mask of the liar, and this generates war.  On the one hand, ripping off people's masks is a bad idea, on the other hand, it's a good idea when a person takes off his mask and says:  "Yes, I am a monster.  There's bad in me, there's good in me.  Either you love the real me or you all go to hell."  To love the present is to love the truth and to be an honest man.
